Guppy, if you do get one, can I get dibs on it? You can get to know me, on my dime we can take a lunch and a flight up in a Cessna or something. :D

True....mostly.

Not every JB pilot has gotten a Blue Dart. As previously stated, the dart is given randomly to a current JB pilot. Once that pilot uses his/her blue dart on a prospective pilot then it is gone forever. No more chances at getting a dart. Basically it is a once in a lifetime guaranteed interview for someone whom you believe would do well at JB.

I've been at JB over 6 years and have never gotten one. Conversely, I've met a JB pilot who got one with less than a year on property.

Old thread but wondering if anything is changed in the program.
If successful in the interview process and not ever accepting a class date (as soon as one is offered) does that burn your Blue Dart donor?

How much a Blue Dart can costs? Lol

Most guys don’t have one anymore I’d guess.

I helped several people get on... I didn't have blue darts but I wrote letters for several people..

Then one friend postponed the interview a couple of times, and then canceled on the last one. His circumstances changed and he was no longer able to take the 60,000 dollar pay cut that was year one.

Now, apparently my recommendations are not good.

Everyone since has been turned down after the interview even after being prepped for the interview.

Not sure if it “burns” them but there goes the blue dart.
They might not care or they might, but it’s not like they will get in trouble.

Maybe you just ran through your quality friends and are now on to the “B” team. :D

Do you guys still have people asking for help getting hired here? All my friends stopped asking around 3 years ago, even the ones at Kalitta, Atlas, Envoy...
