Just interviewed and they said 70ish with small summer class sizes. Supposedly increasing to the 10-20 per class range going forward with 2 classes per month. Which makes sense since 1 interview session in Sept and 2 in Oct.

Anybody in the pool want to chime in please?!

Agree^^ with speedv2. at the sept Interview they said 70 in the pool and hoping to get them into training this year, as class sizes will increase. 1 interview group in sept, 2 in October to fill the pool for First quarter of next year’s training.

Key word. “Hoping”. The pool idea is a little draconian in this market.

Sounds like our operational "plan".

Hiring?!

Any idea what the mins are to get hired and what’s competitive to get on at jetblue. Currently(FO, 1500hr, 21yo) at regionals with low time but curious what they’re looking for and whats the path to get there for off the street with no connections?

You’re very low on hours as it stands now. The average in my class was probably 4000, with most being regional captains or military (this was pre-contract). As for what helps, get to know some JetBlue pilots and establish some internal relationships. Otherwise, apply early and often. At your age, you can probably wrap up a degree (if you don’t have one) and get hired at the legacy of your choice. Quicker upgrade and more defined future, to say the least. Best of luck...

Question

Has anyone had any issues with the website while applying or when trying to update times? When I log in on my computer it only shows that I applied back in January and the status says “received” and it doesn’t allow me to update my times. I applied back in July as well, but it doesn’t show up. However, when I log on using my phone, it has all the different times that I have applied and it also allows me to update my times. Has anyone else seen this happen? Are they even receiving everything? Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks
