Junior LGB FO is #2551. Junior line holder in LGB is #2163. There were 16 pilots between the two. I'd say it will take 2-3 years to hold a line in LGB.

I'd go with the E190 in BOS for a few years then bid to the 320 when you can hold a LGB line, unless you have family in LGB or don't mind commuting to the crash pad Reserve life for a while.

A lot probably depends on when you come in and when you finish up training. If you finish IOE right before spring or summer, you're more likely to hold a line since the flying increases. 190 still seems to be the fastest way to holding a line, but if you want FLL or LGB, I'd still try to bid the Bus and suck it up on reserve in JFK or BOS. From the way things have been going, it seems you an get FLL or LGB earlier than the 2 year equipment lock on the 190. For that fact, I could have even held MCO 320 FO on the supplemental, but I was equipment locked on the 190 for another 6 days after the effective date of the bid. That and reserve in base with few to no red eyes really has me spoiled. :)
