Congrats on Phase II – retired mil myself last year then hired here. You’ve probably already thought of this but….maybe look into using permissive TDY, remaining leave, etc. in order to start class earlier if the opportunity arises? It’s something your commander (and Jetblue I guess) would have to be ok with and I’m assuming you have a good chunk of leave remaining.
I never thought of doing this but my last commander suggested it to me when I put in my retirement paperwork and he was very supportive. Except I ended up not getting hired quick enough so it was moot for me. Another guy in my unit did this though and it worked out giving him a few months more seniority. Best of luck…

I got a call last week for an April class. I had to remind the gentleman that I told the exit interview folks I am on active duty MIL orders until June 3. He penciled me in on the June 8 class without question. I say pencil in because he's not forecasting or filling classes that far out yet, but I can plan on that date and a call later down the line to confirm.
