I wonder how Bonny Simi (Warner) feels about her decision to quit UAL with 14 years of seniority in 2004 and go to Jet Blue? Things looked pretty grim back than but it still raised a few eyebrows when she did it. Looks like she's in management now, so I guess it's probably working out.

Gary Kelly wants that Northeast market....especially more slots in NY.....and SWA just announced Long Beach as a new destination.....
Plus there was the very, very short lived agreement with JetBlue that our SWAPA folks took care of......
Plus SWA touted all those new destinations, only to find out Gary Kelly and company only wanted other people to fly those routes/destinations.
There are some dots that can be connected.....or not

I wonder how much of the offices SWA will keep in Long Island City

Plus, SWA flies airplane, just like Jetblue. It's definitely going to be a hostile takeover.

JetBlue is going to buy Southwest since we'll need some domestic feed for our A330s.

Better trade in those cowboy boots, partner.

I'm with you, I'm gonna guess it's probably working out indeed. Jetblue's VP of Flight Ops, Bart Roberts also left AA in a Management role after 20+ years if I'm not mistaken.
