You need a new APC name. Also, I’m not sure if 2,400 will hold 220CA this go round. Hope it does. Good luck with it!

I can only speak for myself and the few that I have spoken with. First, we haven’t any idea how many legs or where the 220 will go. To say it may do 4-5 legs a day is a possibility, however we must realize that we still fly the E190 and that will always be the heavy lift, short haul aircraft until at least 2023. I do know that being in the top 10 on the 220 initially could quite possibly be better than being in the top 80 on the 320 as an FO. The opportunities to pick up any extra flying are slim thanks to the quick Flica operators. As I have said earlier, I will hope to hold the top 50% on the 220 as an A220 FO at roughly #2200 on the list. Good luck to all

220 Captain I think goes senior to 2000 seniority. |

Top 50% FO is your goal at 2200 seniority? I would hope it’s a lot better than that! You’re already close to that for 190 CA in BOS. I’d guess you’ll be top 25% easily.

I was thinking the same thing. But it could always change based on only 50 people getting the same hair brained idea.
This right here is the danger of bidding a new category that is small! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Very true. Technically you could be number 48 overall and be the plug. It’ll probably take a couple years to reflect true seniority. Once the 190 is gone.
It takes 3 years for the 190/220 fleet to be the same size. 5 years for the 190 to be retired completely Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The senior who are interested will likely sit this one out. If you are number 1000 system wide, but 45 others senior to you bid over, you will find yourself the plug on reserve for 18-24 months. Decent chance they will sit tight and see what the results look like. For the next bid they will have an idea of where they would sit based on the results of this one. My wild guess is junior captain maybe is around 2000, and FO around 3000.
