If only we'd had this program 20 years ago! I could have just jumped int the front end of a Boeing. Experience be dammned!
Valet at a strip club in Detroit. Dishwasher. Line cook. Fueler at an FBO. Foot courier for a downtown firm that produced documents and media for law suits. Wood pallet stacker in a yard. Tank tread stacker (I put the components on a conveyer so they could be sprayed for dye penetration testing. Then I removed them. )

No one is arguing that people from all sorts of background can't be trained. The issue is that JB is turning down pilots with years of experience , military background and a formal education but yet they are ok with hiring someone from square one. This topic has been exhausted and there is an entire thread already on this. Take a read, it might fill you in on the stance regarding this issue from the majority of the airline community.

If I ever get to JB, that supermarket clerk will be my Captain.

Paper or plastic?

Unless you get hired in the next few years and these guys even make it.

Again the union is not a fan of this but we will be hiring a huge chunk of guys in the next few years. If you really want to be here just do what everyone else is doing, network and keep trying.
