What part of the supermarket? I believe that's relevant. Dairy? No way. Meat dept. butcher? Sure. A guy that knows his way around a slab of meat would surely make a fine pilot. Who the heck knows where brisket comes from? He does! Lamb chops with a French cut? Just like an approach to mins. Proper temp to braise a pork roast ? Direct correlation to brake fans on the Airbus. Sold.

A little dated but I think the message holds true. For instance watch from 5:50-6:30... so easy a janitor can do it, or in this case a Supermarket Clerk

I was a supermarket clerk. Worked in the seafood dept then transferred to grocery where all the cool kids were. Stocked shelves. I guess I'll have to quit AA, I'm not fit to work at an airline.

Thruthemurk gets it.
I was a hotel front desk guy, box boy at circuit city, bag boy for DAL, and a bar back....

Then I started my aviation career.
If only we'd had this program 20 years ago! I could have just jumped int the front end of a Boeing. Experience be dammned!

Yeah, I guess working at a lumber yard and a can factory disqualifies me too.

This is no different than what Lufthansa has done in AZ for over 30 years. Get them a Commercial/Multi ticket and slap them in the right seat of a 737. BTW, Lufthansa has one of the best safety records in the industry. It seems to work.

Where is that face palm meme?

We literally have thousands of applicants multiple times a year. Qualified and experienced applicants. Why you wanna sit next to a guy that got three weeks of meteorology and aerodynamics training is beyond me.
