I'm gonna wear mine like a wrist guard...both arms orrrr maybe in place of my epaulettes.

Again I did not take issue with the stuff you pointed out (read that again) I simply said I don't see the negativity that you see. You dismissed that because of the plane I fly and the pilots I fly with. You have a real habit of basically saying that those that don't agree with you should not be entertained. Should I have said "well I want a cba so yeah everyone I fly with is negative" or I am sure you are now saying no but you could just not post and let the rest of us control the message. You were the guy who came up with a hashtag based on something I didn't say and your surprised I pushed back, that's what I don't get. But I grew up in NJ so arguing is in my nature.

Ok BlueJoe, I never said you CAN'T defend JetBlue, it is America after all. I said I can't understand WHY you would defend JetBlue before we have the CBA we deserve. Big difference.

And my hashtag wasn't meant as a literal quote, it captures the essence of what your message is or the impression it leaves. So, you own it even if it isn't a direct quote.

Go ahead. Push back against negative posts about your JB before we have peer compensation. Sounds totally logical to me.

Joe has never said things are getting better here so I'm not sure why he has to "own" that quote. Hyperboy is the one who said things continue to get better here.

#itsnotreallythatbadsaysjoe

That is the quote I assigned Joe for his multiple efforts to push back against those of us who are unsatisfied with our current working conditions and compensation.

The other one was just a snarky addition to a post, not attributed directly at Joe.

He specifically said he was not satisfied with his working conditions and compensation. He supports the negotiations and welcomes a good CBA. He just isn't negative. The negativity is what he pushes back against, as do I.

Before management gives us the peer compensation and working conditions we have earned? Very logical.

Right now negativity regarding current conditions is the reality. You just said so yourself in different words.

I think BD's angst arises from certain people sounding too complacent with the status quo, which doesn't exactly signal to management the pilot group's deep frustration and lack of patience for major improvements. Actually it's the opposite.

Signed,
ATR--negative/realistic but optimistic, and highly supportive of our NC

P.S., which base has your V-file? I'll be sure to drop an ALPA lanyard in yours

This is exactly my perception of the impression Joe and a few others leave.

Shake all the Blue pom poms you want, AFTER a CBA that recognizes our sweat equity in this company and values us equal to our peers. Go crazy, knock yourself out! After, not before, after we are no longer compensated 30-40% below our peers.

Not that complicated.

I don't see Joe shaking any blue pom poms. But again, you don't have the right to tell him, or me, or anyone else how to feel or how to act. You do you.
