I expect ALPA to deliver the "market rate" contract they are promising. I interpret "market rate" to mean right up there at the top in line with Delta, United, and SWA. I expect "market rate" to include pay, work rules, retirement, vacation, sick, scope, health care, other benefits.
I still have apps out, and will continue to have apps out. When we get to "market rate", I will be much less likely to move if given the chance. Even if they, for some crazy reason, give us 2X, or 4X BETTER than market rate, I WILL NOT CLEAN. I also WILL NEVER DO A STANDUP PA. You'd have to be crazy to do a stand up with what's happening out there with all airlines these days. |
