jumpseating on Kalitta
can anyone tell me the current procedure for j/s on Kalitta?
I'm looking to get on the LAX-HNL flight.
My buddy use to jump on them a lot and he said to just call the ops number. I did that, and they transfered me to a another phone and no one answered.
I saw they have a form on their website, do you have to fill that out and send it in?

I've done it once, they were great. You have to fill out that form and fax it in at least 24 hours in advance.
In LAX the airplane might be over on the south cargo side, or it might be closer to the Eagle satellite terminals, as it was when I flew. Call ops and they can tell you. Show up where they tell you, they'll check your documents and the loadmaster will escort you to the aircraft. In addition to the 2 actual jumpseats on the flight deck, there are 4-5 First Class seats available.
