If you're on the 767 they don't take part in peak, purely DHL so there won't be extra.

He’s on the 747. Got unlucky and wasn’t used much.

It happens, last couple of months I barely broke guarantee. Others I flew with on and off did 80+. I had time out issues with domestic and basic crews which had a lot to do with it in the second half. At least the 2nd half was a higher guarantee than 64.

Was it just me who got unlucky? Was there actually a good amount of overtime available? I got the impression that it was pretty dry from talking to other pilots.

You’re not the only one. I was on ‘valet’ duty moving the airplane between Mather and Travis. Whole bunch of R2s with actual flying next to them on the PD sheet.

I always put my name on overtime call list and never get called, I am somewhat senior FO. That being said I am still averaging around high 80’s for previous 3-4 months. I think it’s more timing and placing for making extra cash.

Looks like a pair of BCFs are getting parked (not sure for how long).

Wait for it....743?

Surprisingly, no. 742 has been in OSC since the end of peak and it looks like 703 in a month or two.

Things I have heard and believe are true. World freight is very slow. No 747 classes scheduled for the foreseeable future. Parking some aircraft that require large maintenance expenditures until business picks up. First 777 from DHL next month. 777 ETOPS by middle of next month. Continued hiring into 777. Atlas will declare bankruptcy to rid themselves of 744’s.

As I have stated before, those still at K4 will now see the value in being here during lean times. The company will weather this downturn, and with the new management personnel, come out the other side ready to prosper again.

Those that jump ship to a pax major may see a flat growth for a few years as the economic slow down the world is seeing finally effects the US. Delta and others will hire until the day they furlough.

747 Pilots hired in the last 4 years at K4? Enjoy some site seeing on the somewhat longer layovers the slow economy provides. If you need the extra money bid the 777.

I know you’re referring to the near future, but how are the triple guys doing on money right now? There’s a whole lot of pilots for 1 plane.
