You you make more than 62, but dont count on it.
Reserve maybe at home though not ususally-only if it is really slow.
All travel is coach.
Upgrade will probably be quicker now with the new a/c. A few 60+ coming back from the fe seat I don't see them being enough to matter.
Send in your resume.
Its okay though I would recommend keeping all future options open.
The first two are from Malaysia thats why they are coming soon, the rest from JAL.

It seems they pushed up the delivery schedule, the first 747-400 will be at Kalitta in Feb-March 2008.
The first bid was just put out for Jan 28th class, 10 Capt's and 6 F/O's for the first a/c, with 11 more to follow.
I wonder how many "Old School" guys will bid it?

The bid is out-not in e-mail yet, class starts Jan 28th. They can call training for the bid if they want. Everyone was surprised to hear this happen so fast after years of rumors. The Malaysia deal seemed to come out of the blue. The bid is available on the company site under training department.

The Malaysia A/C have probably come from the c360/sah deal falling apart. SAH and Oakhill sued GAP aircraft leasing for the BCF's failing to meet performance requirements. The A/C where retired from the MAL in 2002 and 2003 so they are low time and have been stored in the AZ desert during that time. They where combi's and are being converted in Xiamen. The have the highest thrust CF6's produced max TOW of 875K. Have fun with them the should be great planes. CN should be 24315/738 on the first and the second should be 24405. Look on plane spotters and the will still show being held be Boeing Leasing.
Thank HDG!

No classics are going away, so as far as it looks, expansion.
The last classic upgrade class for Feb 08, has a guy hired in March 07 in it,
11 months, pretty quick.
These -400's will really mix things up, I ran into an SO, he said, he and two others he knew of would like to bid back to CA if they can, I am not sure how that is working out. So not many, still alot of upgrades available here.?
send your resume in, see how it goes, good luck.
