Let's talk movies

I went and saw Aliens VS Predator, then snuck into "I am Legend" last night. Enjoyed both movies, but Legend was better, kinda scary that we have the biotechnology that IT could happen. Aliens just had to be in my home state of Colorado!

jsfBoat, I saw dodgeball, and that was pretty good, but if you liked that, you'd probably LOVE Superbad....mainly just wanted to comment on how much I like your default pic...Dinosaurs rule!!! I made sure and expressed my anger to Nielsen for removing that

I'm going to show my age, but some of my favorites might warrant mentioning....
1) Hunt for Red October (One of Connery's best; breakout for Alec Baldwin)
2) Body Heat (William Hurt gets played like a violin by Kathleen Turner)
3) RoboCop (what a sleeper that was! "Part man, part machine, ALL Cop!")
4) Terminator (Launched Arnold. I thought was destined to be a cult classic)
5) LA Confidential (period pieces always grab me. Crowe's breakout role)
6) Heaven's Prisioners (Alec Baldwin does the smoldering cop really well)
7) Tequila Sunrise (Kurt Russell and Mel Gibson mano a mano. Excellent!)
8) Big Lebowski (when the machine gun falls out of the trunk, ROTFL!!)
9) War of the Roses (Michael Douglas p@@$ on the turkey in the oven:-)))
10) Fargo (Steve Buscemi's breakout role, what a moron he had to play!)
That's enough for now...I didn't date myself too bad...JP

Question for the movie buffs.
Does anyone remember a disaster movie with a supernatural theme?
Fred told me about this one years ago and it kind of goes like this .
Jumbo crashes on takeoff and the only person who survives is the Capt.and he tries to find out what caused the crash.
The kicker to this is that at the very end of the movie the Capt is found dead still strapped to his seat .
I beleive it was a french actor who played the part of the Capt.and the movie came out in the 80's.
