Most of our airplanes have a latching intercom switch. Some of our older ones do not. Some are being retrofitted, but I don't think they're doing the ones that will be parked before too long.

EMB,

The rubber bands work best. It's not some "tool" you must remember to grab after every flight. AND if your jet doesn't have a rubber band, you can add yours and then leave it for the next guy.

If you send me your address, I'll be happy to send you 20 rubber bands for free.

I prefer the stir sticks over the rubber bands. Free from any Starbucks and they work better in the right seat.
