It could very well make sense if they offer certain routes only certain times of the year, like the example of Europe that was given. Sounds like they're trying to see what's gonna work. Hell, the E190s we're supposed to be temporary, yet now they're staying.

If I’m not mistaken, E190s were never temporary…that was lore. E195s were the permanent fixture for routes 2 hours and less (didn’t want E190s at all), then they got E190s at such a dirt cheap rate they couldn’t turn them down, so they got both. But the whole plan was to have 195s for low utilization short flights and 220s for high utilization longer flights.

The original fleet plan was for a single aircraft type using A220’s. When the E190/195’s were later announced they were placeholders to be quickly replaced by A220’s. Keeping them is the third iteration of the fleet plan.

No one is flying Breeze for free, even the crew members. They do get a discount though.... on Greyhound.

Just kidding, let's check their contract and see what is says about this......

Neelman’s really turning the low-cost model on its head!!!! Can’t wait to see how they deploy the A220s….
So going to turn things on their head!! yeah, just like he was going to turn FA hiring on its head? Hey come live in my compound and get free online college! You know I started Jet Blue?

How many months of news articles and announcements were there prompting speculation of all the cool secondary airports he was going to start the airline flying from? Oh wait, Tampa to Charleston. It's like thinking Van Halen is going to get back together and open for The Foo Fighters and Humble Pie shows up, with Sammy Hagar.

I imagine the the are going to deploy the 220s like everyone else, flying from one airport to another.

Haters gonna hate. How many airlines have you created? Life is too short to be so negative.

Go create something you can be proud of. You'll feel better about yourself and others.
