I heard jetblue was potentially going to take some from Mirabel due to mobile having production issues (both delivery timeline and QC). Not sure how accurate that is.

Ok maybe what I was told is incorrect. I was told Airbus would be moving a portion of the production to France. Either way, reliability is an issue
Airbus is also constructing a pre assembly line in Canada to stuff the shells with more systems prior to them being shipped for final assembly as well as I believe are evaluating adding a second full production line in Mobile Also I don’t think we are taking anyone else’s planes, but rather we are potentially leasing planes from Azorra. |

My guess is that what was being said is that Airbus in the short term is moving some Mobile A320 production to Europe to free up the line for A220 production. Both the A220 and A320 are assembled on the same exact production line in Mobile.

Vague question perhaps but what’s Airbus’s max production rate on the A220 currently? What’s the second production line in Mobile supposed to bump it up to? Anyone know?
Currently, between Canada and Mobile, the 220 production rate is at 6 aircraft a month, however, they are not delivery 6 aircraft a month. By 2025, they want production to be at 14 aircraft a month, with 10 of those coming from the Canada lines and 4 on the A320 line in Mobile. |

This article I think is the most up to date answer to your questions. https://aviationweek.com/special-topics/crossover-narrowbody-jets/airbus-prepares-much-higher-a220-rates-new-versions

Breeze
Sorry new here. Of course after any FO reserve, what are Breeze trips like out of ORF? Are they 1 day? So no 220s in ORF yet?

What are the trips out of PVU like on both fleets?
Just got a CJO, curious what my future might look like. Anyone at Breeze based out of PVU or familiar with PVU feel free to PM me. Thanks! |
Should I apply
Hey I’ve read a ton of the forum and a bunch of negative about low time guys washing out. I’m job surfing and live in Tampa and saw Breeze jets the other day on the ride home from a trip. I’m Still under contract with 135 company and about 7K to buy out of it. Wanna move to 121 with 2-6months. Talked to another Breeze pilot that was thrilled to be with Breeze but would like to hear some other perspective. Feel free to PM me.
I’m at 1600hrs/350 part 135 jet time, 500ish multi time. No 121 time. |
All times are GMT -8. The time now is 05:16 PM. |
