At DL, it is turn the fans on after 5 min, or earlier if approaching the gate to avoid blowing that carbon dust cancer stuff on the rampers.

Likewise at B6. On a tangent, B6 recently reverted back to the Airbus recommended temperature point of >30c ambient temperature for leaving FLAPS 1 out after landing to avoid an Air Wing Leak msg(no dispatch scenario), is this the same temperature point at DL? Just curious. (It was previously >35c at B6)

It was also >30 at at B6 the year before they changed it to 35.

That's what I've gathered too. I've seen other carriers with flaps down/up since, with temp >30, so just wondering if it's much of a standard or everyone does there own approved thing since we previously did.

(*I've seen A380's with FLAPS 1 config in Dubai at night and thought Airbus would've got a handle on that design issue, the A380 being a newer design, but I'm not an Aeronautical engineer so what do I know)
