Default Skybus makes the news

I don't know if anyone else saw, but today on the evening news they ran a short clip on SKYBUS. the news anchor held a $10 bill and said this will buy you an airline ticket! Then the CEO of the company spoke, I really don't remember what he said because all I was thinking was how in the hell would anyone go there to work?!!!

might cost more because you may have to go to 2 or 3 non-stop destinations before you end up where you want to be...

Maybe it's like Ryan Air. They sell seats for a about $.05 - well only two or three on flight but still $.05 will buy you the ticket if you book up six months to a year in advance. Then they charge you for checked baggage and all sorts of stuff, but still the seat only cost $.05.

You're exactly right. I heard a radio piece about this operation. Yes, 10 bucks (for a VERY few seats), but more $$ for baggage, more $$ for boarding early, more $$ for a seatbelt...just kidding about that last one.

Article in USA Today about them last week. Going to be using "low usage" airports. Example....For SEA, will be flying into Bellingham, Wa., ninety seven miles to the north! You get to buy a $10 ticket, and a $200 cab ride to SEA!
