Default AA informational Picket

Posted here for maximum visibility as all pilots are invited.

Our brother and sister pilots at American Airlines are now working under a bankruptcy-era contract that has [expired]. Management is showing zero interest in negotiating a new contract, and is dragging out the process, since conclusion will only raise their costs. Thus, their pilot union (APA) plans to conduct informational picketing on Jan. 29 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at DFW’s Terminal D. There will be a unity rally at Texas Live in Arlington later that evening. If you're a pilot, no matter who you work for, please try to be there.

They will begin the day with Concourse Conversations at Terminal D from 8 a.m. to noon. Informational picketing will be followed by the rally at Texas Live, with check-in for the rally beginning at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30, presentations at 7:30, and a Q&A session at 8:30.

If you’re not scheduled to fly that day, or if your schedule will take you through DFW, we strongly encourage you to join your fellow pilots on the picket line, at the rally, or both.
