UFly Mike Harmony Pro vs Light
I’m trying see what’s better for me. Harmony Pro vs Harmony Light. They say the Pro is modular...my understanding is it’s easier to upgrade a headset if Bose improves the QC35. I just got the QC35 so I don’t plan on getting a new one any time soon. Anybody have input on which is better for them and why. I know you need an audio cable for the Light to make a phone call. Same for Pro? It it matters I fly the Airbus so for me changing planes doesn’t happen too often.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I got the light. Pretty sure the pro just comes with more "stuff" that I didn't need. So far I love it. I just use an aux cable I had in my "dad box" of old cables to jack into my phone. The light comes with one but it was too short for me.

I actually received the Light for Xmas with Airbus plugs and a long microphone cord. I returned it in exchange for one with the two prong set up because I already have the Airbus adapter. I only used it for a few flights and when I get a new one I’ll get the XL mic cord. For me it came to the corner of my mouth. I prefer to have it directly in front plus with the extra length you can probably make it work if you have the microphone sit on your right ear.

Can you not Bluetooth music/sound into your phone?

I asked them about that before ordering. They said the XL is if you wanna wear the QC’s backwards to keep the mic on the right (FO). I just have the cable cross me. It’s not a biggie. I love my setup but 95% go topless at 180 soooooo

No you cannot without buying an additional Bluetooth adapter from amazon. This goes for the pro as well. I would have bought the pro setup if it came with native Bluetooth.
That being said, the aux cord setup works fine and the sound is great. You can Joe Rogan by night all day and not miss a single radio call (not that I do this, I have heard from a friend).

I got the "Pro" version, but only because I preordered it before the Harmony came out (I've been flying with the Harmony for 3 years now), and rather like it. However, since I wouldn't plan on getting a different pair of headphones (and Bose has excellent customer service if you break a pair), I'd probably save the money and get the "light version."
P.S. I also got the smartphone cable, but I have never used it. Definitely save your money, there, too, because I don't know if I'd want to be seen walking around using a big set of headphones with a mic while in an airport.
