Wink We can't "bear" it

Oh great Nanook, ruler of the North! Thy servant, Skyhigh, is sore distressed.
He hath long awaited thy summons, and his heart grows weary.
Hasten, we beg thee, and carry him to thy great Igloo, that we may once more hunt and fish in peace.
For we are a simple tribe, and this life is the only one we know.

Its a bitter sweet love with aviation, and I think there is an argument there, but like I have always said before, flying is not a job, its fun and if you approach it that way you will always have a good time.
I will never stop my quest for Alaska Airlines and one day I will get there. It dose not mean however that if I was a 22 year old that I would be taking any flight lessons nor does it mean that even if I were to get hired at AS that I would stay there long. It only means that I have a goal to get my corny picture taken in an Alaska Airlines uniform "while employed as such" and then see what happens.

As far as flying being fun. I am sure was at one time. Poverty, losses and disappointment tarnished it a bit. It is also fun to play video games but no one is lining up to pay a living wage to do that either. Eventually we all need to earn a real living.

I rather enjoyed that and will ponder your statement throughout the day.

Well, after a long weekend of camping and barbecuing with my family I must be off to meet a crew of landscapers from south of the border.

Adios Amigos !!
