What Industry Standard Will Be Destroyed Next?
OK So we have:
--The JetBlue Pilot group documented twice trying to get the FAA to lift the 8/24 duty time
--Age 65 coming and Age 60 retirements going
--Open Skies a done deal
In your opinion what will be the next industry standard under attack either by a rouge pilot group, airline mangement, FAA or Congress?

They want to be able to fly from the East Coast to the West Coast and then return without having to take a crew rest.
In their desire they have one time petitioned the FAA and one time participated in an illegal unsanctioned "fact finding" in which they subjected unknowing passengers to pilots who were actively breaking the 8/24 duty limit.

Some CEO will think of this....
Requiring pilots to do other work when not flying, as is done in corporate aviation? Probably would be seen first at some non-union carrier and then spread. Didn't People Express have pilots work the ticket counter, etc?
