Maybe they should charge for new memberships anytime there is a newsworthy aviation event. Or, as previously suggested, a simple test to join.

You guys are hilarious; I bet more than half of you are armed everytime you check the mail and the other half get jumpy when the other pilots leave the cockpit door open for a millisecond too long.
Yet, when entire cities are being quarantined because people way smarter than you believe there's a real possibility of mass casualties you all act like it's some deep state conspiracy and scoff at anyone who shows an ounce of concern.

Clearly you weren't around for 9/11. Give me a break this is no where near 9/11. 9/11 was Tuesday and we didn't fly till Saturday. No one was on any of the planes. I watched from the Front row as heads rolled. We wacked guys on 9/11. The following Friday even more heads rolled and that went down for months! This is NO WHERE NEAR 9/11. You know NOTHING! We had 7000 pilots and when all said and done. 4200. Try 40% were gone! We wacked guys for years and then the great 65 rule saved the day. Guys were on the street for a long time! Don't give me this is worse.

Over?! That’s it? Some guy that’s 40 years old, won’t be able to find another airline job for 25 years and at which point they’d have to retire?
