not to mention addiction, vehicle accidents, and suicide (22 vets/day). More people die on the streets of Chicago on a weekend than than have died from Corona this season.

Everyone making this political needs to stop. Watching CNN or FOX is not good for us as a group. The furloughs are coming regardless of what side of the narrative you are on. Time to drop that and support our brothers and sisters.

This is correct. Our coworkers will need our support, as well as their families. It may be me or you.

Did you know that while Coronavirus has only killed 5000 people, over 100 BILLION people have died from other causes over the course of our species' existence?

That's what you, and people like you, sound like.

Why do people still think it's a compelling argument to compare Coronavirus deaths to [insert non-sequiter cause of death here] when coronavirus is really only just beginning?

They interviewed 9 people yesterday at K4 for possibly a May class. Cargo is seeing an uptick at the moment with the pax airlines flying less.
Too early to tell what's going to happen.

Well based on listening to Trump right now, I’ll say it, the music HAS stopped.

Why does this matter? Will you feel bad for these remarks if a family member dies from the virus? Will you just say "well more people suicide so oh well!" Theyre trying to stop it from spreading. So that it doesn't wipe out millions. Probably doesn't matter to you and will continue with your rhetoric. Pilots will be furloughed. We need to stand together and provide what help we can.

Economic effects are really starting to snowball. NBA has suspended the rest of the season UFN after a player tested positive. "March Madness" is still on but no fans, only immediate family of players and staff. With the NBA decision I have a feeling March Madness is going away too.

Stock Market is officially in "Bear" market territory. Some of the pilots on my union's forum have lost 30%, but those probably had very aggressive portfolios.

Fractional Flying is actually seeing an uptick in bookings, at least at NetJets.

Who quotes statistics of an epidemic at the beginning of it? Usually you wait until it's wrapped up before you start throwing around comparisons.

Grab your popcorn, Grump. Coronavirus is just warming up.
