Default Will multistop routes return?

Just using delta as an example, but would something like

make sense?

Alaska and Jetblue have already announced some of these sort of tag flights to meet the requirements of the CARES Act

Spirit too. CLE-CMH-MCO is one that I’ve seen. I’m sure there are many more.

You mean “direct” flights, like WN has always done? Not to be confused with “non-stop.” I can’t understand how many in the business can’t explain the difference.

yes and no

i suspect triangle consolidation would make more sense than “direct”

ie the example i gave first rather than atl-bhm-msy-iah-elp-phx-lax

Even in 2019 I've been on a "non-stop" flight on SWA where a PAX asked the FA why we were stopping prior to his destination. That has to be most confusing term to the public vs industry as any.

The distinction is between nonstop and direct fights. Direct flights can have more than on flight segment with one flight number.

The phone conversations can be heard often, “I didn’t know I was going through PHX CLE and BWI to get from PDX to ROC”.
