Commuting from CHAZ

If the other you’re referring to is Bundy, I don’t agree with his cause, but he didn’t commit assault, vandalism, arsen, and larceny of private property of innocent citizens. He didn’t take an area by force, he refused to leave an area he had previously legally occupied. His situation came about because he didn’t want to pay the grazing fees he legally owed, but he didn’t terrorize an entire community in the process.

Sooo anyone want to take on Fox News being actual fake news? This goes beyond bias and sensationalist headlines.

How long until a radical group decided to take t back? How long until actual lead goes down range? So far the 2nd amendment types are non-violent, but if ANTIFA arms itself and squeezes off a round I’m afraid a lot more violence will follow.

I think it would be interesting if another group surrounded the area and blockaded them. The mayor has set a precedent that anyone can squat anywhere for their cause.
The minute it became clear that certain politicians would not allow police to do their jobs I began to say it was only a matter of time before militants and militia came to blows.

According to friends who live nearby it's an overall chill environment. Though I don't fully agree with the 'occupation' it is nowhere near the scary scenes the conservative media attempts to portray it. And even downright falsify it...

Keep up the good work Faux News. I'd complain about them violating photojournalism ethics, but they aren't really news to begin with.

As for the armed antifa, I cant speak to the article you linked, but I live near Capitol Hill myself and have seen them firsthand... not saying its good or bad, but its not all make believe by fox news.

You mean demonstrating at a Capitol building with proper permits leaving the place cleaner than when they got there, not living up to the hype of the governor and media that said it would end in a shootout? No, I don’t have a problem with that.

In case you forgot more than two dozen of the Bundy group were charged with federal offenses including conspiracy to obstruct federal officers, firearms violations, theft, and depredation of federal property. Seven of them went to prison and one got killed after a pursuit.
I think the whole CHAZ thing is kinda dumb, but panicking about a someone tweeting about wanting guns is way overblown. I have no issues if any of these folks get charged with crimes, but let's move onto to the next thing to scare everyone.

Yeah! Lets kick the police out of an entire precinct which leads to 3x longer police response times. Oh, and lets block off 6 city blocks so police/ems/fire cant access an entire neighborhood.. all while completely ignoring social distancing. Sounds perfectly safe to me!

I see some hypocrisy here as usually it's conservative groups who will argue about self defense from a variety of perceived boogeymen. But when a group of 'others' want to do it suddenly that's very bad. See the Mulford Act of 1967.
I guarantee if a group of say ISIS sympathizers did the same protest on the Michigan capitol the response would have been a lot different. To quote Ronald Reagan, "guns are a ridiculous way to solve problems that have to be solved among people of good will."

Why does anyone still watch cable “news?” It’s a waste of time.
