Yeah, I get that. The blame really falls to the AF, but Boeing could have told them "this is a stupid, expensive idea that we don't think will ever work well."

But, whatever... it's only money, right? :-(

Perhaps. But nowhere in the RFP was there a specification for discarded Big Mac boxes in the fuel tanks....

Same place as the specification for my car’s trunk to come equipped with a dump in the spare tire well.

The Puget Sound Boeing workforce has become lazy and disincentivized to perform. Fits the motto nicely for clowns that run the state, county and city. Pack up the 767 tanker and move it to Kansas or anywhere but where it is....
