How many nights a month are you away though? How many redeye periods do you put on your body? No amount of money can sustain that hit on your health.

I fly MUCH shorter duty periods, way less block hours, have less time zone interruptions, and much longer layovers. This job is way easier, and I have a crazy amount of time off.
If I remember right, you’re at Alaska? You guys fly as much as I did at my regional. No question you’re putting your body through much more trauma than mine with that flying.
I don’t fly the 777, but that’s the same flying as anywhere else. Except we have more business class deadheads than UAL/DAL/AAL.

I fly MUCH shorter duty periods, way less block hours, have less time zone interruptions, and much longer layovers. This job is way easier, and I have a crazy amount of time off.

Many work day flights only. Typical red-eye, though is a couple of hours long flight. That’s domestic. International is international and you’ll deal with many time zone crossings regardless of cargo/pax.
