Does anybody know of any airline that is still flying the MD-11?

No passenger airlines in the U.S.

Cargo: UPS, FedEx, Western Global

Looks like those 3 and Lufthansa Cargo are the only airlines remaining in the world operating a MD11.

It’s a shame seeing all these iconic and original looking airplanes get replaced by vanilla products that could be mistaken for one another.

I understand why, but it still sucks to see.

Exactly. Just like what’s happening with sports cars nowadays. Thank goodness the MX-5 Miata is still true to its raw sports car form.

is there any other flying job worth having? Flying a cattle car looks pretty miserable, assuming you aren’t furloughed, on some sort of long term leave, encouraged to retire early, etc. Pays better too
