big picture fellas, big picture
I'm pretty sure that guy could have business class tickets to and from Orlando with a bit of seniority at Fedex....

As a ULCC Spirit guy is usually one of the two encounters:

“Spirit, you guys sure are growing fast over there. Nice to get on early”

Or

“Spirit, well don’t worry, we won’t charge you for your carry on(chuckle chuckle)”

I had a lead DAL FA tell me (I was offline DH in uniform on Delta) “I guess you can ride, but maybe I’ll charge you for your bags like you guys do”

Being that I was a paying customer I took the opportunity to remind her “you do realize this very flight is charging passengers a premium of $45 to sit in a middle seat simply because it’s closer to the front (not economy comfort)”

Just a reminder that pilots don’t create the pricing structure of their airlines.

Make sure to tell that story at your Delta interview. It will go over great!

Show me on the doll where the ULCC man touched you? Your trigger against Spirit is laughable

Good luck with that flow.

Tell them some ULLC is thinking of putting in all pay toilets. Be interested in the response.

The Ryanair guy joked about that. I think he was joking.

I doubt it. Same guy that wanted to essentially make people stand for the whole flight in those special seats.

I did not mention by name, but yes I was referring to Ryanair. The airline announced they would charge for use of the restrooms. There was a firestorm of negative from the public. Then they backed down.
