I did reach out to a recruiter and told them I was leaving for another major, but would love to stay with the AA family. I received an interview invite the next day, so I guess you can call that leveraging. I had an updated app with them for two years, and that’s what it took to finally get a response.

Sorry for the thread revive but have a similar question and wondering about UPS vs AA from a PHX domicile perspective. My gut tells me that domicile trumps the rest but wondering if anyone has a different opinion.

stagnant…but you can hold it as a new hire. Also PHX will start to move quicker in a few years as the retirement wave finally hits that base. The real issue is will it survive, will it stay the same size. I have no opinion on that one way or the other.
