Default FAA Increasing F/A Rest Time

Going from 9 hours to 10 hours. The change was put in place in 2018 but never implemented by the administration:

About time to be honest and as for management, well they can go **** themselves for abusing the FA work rules for so long. Some of the stuff I have seen them get scheduled could almost be considered cruel. Certainly each airline is different in this regard, but some are really bad.

FAs better prepare themselves for 10:02 hours on every layover now.

I guess that's better than the 9:01 hours currently.

Exactly. I know there is a big difference between a min rest overnight and one with an extra hour.

Well if they're at 10 hours minimum rest to pour soda, it's time to increase ours to 12 hours as the minimum.

As pilots we need to support their gains and otherwise stay out of their wheelhouse.

Ageed. It doesn't hurt us at all that they get improved work rules like that.
