Jet blue buyout coming?

why did Russ Chew take his current position? he is obviously intelligent and a veteran in this business, if he new this two months ago and , wow what a deal, make a bunch of money just to be CEO, or whatever he is. He could have been CEO at HAL or did anything, that crowd knows where the fast money is.I can't believe he wouldn't have known.
on the other hand is this all true, and will it be UAL, what about USAir? Who isn't in JFK? USAir, who has a bunch of money to buy DAL? USAir. although UAL is right next to JB planes one terminal over. Dave, Peterson, Chew, are all gonna make some serious cash either way.
Hot tubs are intended for relaxation AND hydrotherapy, you can't go wrong with that investment. Massage is just a layman's word for hydrotherapy, unless you are in Thailand or the PI.

These protections that are coming out are for the workers here, not the execs. I'm sure they already have theirs. This stuff usually comes with a union contract. The way I see it the company is trying to provide the protections without having to have the stink of ALPA to go with it.
I am sure a Union pilot group would eat 1500 independant contractors alive---even with your "company protections".

Being a potential JB newhire (still waiting and hoping), I still need to be realistic about the future for my family. My question is: After the purchasing carrier furloughs or fires a ton of pilots with no severance, where is the money going to come from to sue for breach of contract?

As much as I hate to agree with that assesment, realistically it's probably pretty accurate.

Wasn't it just 6 months ago that the Blue Shirt Panty-Waist were crowing on this discussion board that they were taking over the airways from the Legacy Carriers?
They don't have a clue about how to stand together, negotiate, what they really signed in a five year independant contract, where the money would come to defend themselves.
Get this--every JB contract is a five year contract. In theory a purchasing airline could allow the contract to expire and never have to worry about firing, furlough or keeping any JB yo-yo.

While I stand by what I said before, I regret having to agree with you since you are now being so incredibly unprofessional. By the way... while I think I get the jist of what you are saying in the above quoted post, I don't think I have read that much incoherent drivel in a long time. Are you drunk early today, or what?
One question: When you say "unprofessional" do you mean "unprofessional" like thinking you can negotiate an "individual contract" that is "industry standard" as set by Union pilots?
Or do you mean "unprofessional" like "gay blue uniform shirt"?
