Default What kind of recruitment happens at Oshkosh?

I assume all of the legacies will be at Oshkosh this year, anybody have any insight what kind of recruitment goes on? I have not seen anything about signing up to talk to a recruiter ahead of time, is it fine to just show up in casual clothes? I know the regionals have done impromptu interviews on the spot before, but I assume it hasn't reached that point with the legacies yet?

I have a CJO with one legacy, and an interview with the second. The only legacy that hasn't shown any interest yet is the one I would like to work for. If it is a casual enough setting, I am tempted to go talk with them and see if there is any chance there before I start at another legacy.

Legacy recruitment teams don’t usually go to Oshkosh, usually just regional affiliates. Got 2 out of 3… if you’re a regional partner of the 3rd you’ll probably be best served by leaving to one of the other two and going from there,

At an LCC currently. I suspect you're right though, I will eventually hear from the third once I am at a different legacy. Would love to skip the intermediate step, but am incredibly fortunate as it is, so I can't complain!

Definitely keep an open mind. You never know if you start somewhere if you feel it's right for you, you could actually change the order of your list of preferences (particularly if you can be in base). Good luck!

EAA recruits at Oshkosh. Always looking for more members.

The magazine is nice.
