I don't know how some of you were raised but it's clear that some of you should do some research on how to behave at a dinner table.

One example that I've been noticing as of late has been the way some people hold their forks and knives. I saw some dude stab his steak with the fork straight down and cut around it like he was carving a roast, then put the knife down and switch hands with the fork to take a bite. I stopped doing that at 5.

You're supposed to have the fork in your left hand and knife in your right hand and cut it the same way.

Again don't be the "ugly American", you embarrass yourself and others around you when you lack basic manners and don't abide by basic social norms.
Amen, brother from a different mother.
Nothing more embarrassing then a 60 year old who doesn’t know how to use cutlery.
Even more so if they dress like a 4 year old and start every conversation with “back on the Classic”.

The perfect way to dine without getting one’s hands soiled.

I do make exceptions when eating ribs. Roll up my sleeves and “dig in”.

Steak!?!

You can afford steak?

I think not.

Back in those days. We were poor. But we were happier.

I grew up in a house without a flush toilet. Sorry I didnt get etiquette lessons as part of my pre school. I try to not be offensive but we only had one fork size in my house. I just cut a steak the wrong way while sitting on my couch in the crashpad watching the Motocross des Nations. While listening to the French broadcast with German closed caption. And understood 90% of it.

But oh noes. I used the knife incorrectly. Back to the ancient farmhouse with an Outhouse for me.

So Mrs. Manners, how do you eat hot wings? I gotta hear this crap.
The living proof right here that being a pilot in the US has been a blue collar job from its very inception rather then an enterprise for nobility as it was in Europe.
As such no need for chicken wings, rather duck breast and goose liver.

Well given we are all here because of two bicycle mechanics I guess that makes sense.
