500 PIC. I can't get a call with 7500TT, 3500PIC JET and so on. I'm just waiting for someone to call.

I havent done the application yet but does anyone know if there is a portion of the application to put down an internal united reference? It so, does this give you much of an advantage?

It's another box checked, but doesn't make a huge difference. Many people have gotten the interview with no internal recs.

This subject was covered a little bit on a thread titled How long after UAL, or United interview... something to that effect, run a search.

The mins says college degree preffered. I have a 2yr aviation degree. Is this a deal breaker for them.

No, I know someone personally who doesn't have a degree and was hired recently. At least you have a 2yr.

UAL Mins and Hiring Expectations

About a week ago, United lowered their 1000 Multi/1000 PIC Single-Engine fighter mins to 500 for fighters.

As of late Feb, 41 new-hires had completed or were in training. 68 more had accepted training but not started. 100 more are anticipated by year's-end.

All official channels say they are hiring a total of 200 this year.
