wow, looks like we found the guy in the video. Name checks out!!
I didn’t claim to know Delta’s culture, I was just asking the OP a question. You know, the OP that claims to know Delta's culture but doesn’t work there. Funny you didn’t quote him.
every one, please wave at FangsF15 your servant leader… he is the one in the hat!

I doubt he was the goof servant leader in the video, but I could definitely see him doing it.

dude, i could never express with words how little i care about delta or whatever dumb tribe people ascribe to. Ive just never experienced this kind if stuff. I do my job, shut down check, go home. One could counter that the “ koolaid” swings both ways. Dont buy into a stereotype youve never personally experienced. I imagine there are douchbags at every airline

Don't mind Fangs. He's our resident know it all. He's the rickair of Delta who has to weigh in on every issue and offer the "expert" opinion nobody asked for. We love his odd overly emotional writing stlye too, where he uses italics, boldface, underline, and caps to emphasize HIS point. He's also appointed himself unofficial moderator of the Delta board, where he tells us what we should and shouldn't say and calls people out for posting things he thinks are violations of some sort of decorum. He's definitely the hall monitor type. Oh, and did you know he flew the F15? Oh wait, you don't have to wonder, he's told us. So typical.

Lol, the irony in this post. I welcome anyone to come to the Delta boards to observe behavior, demeanor, and posting style for yourself. And if you really care (which you righfully shouldn't), search my post history, and NB's. It speaks for itself, and it won't take you long to find the irony.
Oh, and did you hear he used to fly the F15? Your servant leader.

What is the ACTUAL company culture like at each company? I have always wanted to work for United, however after my recent interview experience at Delta I really enjoyed their culture from what I could see and was wonder how is the culture at each airline on a day to day basis? How does the company view its pilots? How does crew scheduling treat pilots?
Culture is made up of the collective behavior of those you work with, and it’s real. Tell me culture doesn’t matter the first time you have a coworker with a god complex run across the terminal after you yelling your name so they can dress you down for not wearing your hat. Or have a Capt tell you nine times between the FAF and gate how stupid you are after you look down for 3 seconds to put ground in standby at 2,000 feet.
At the end of the day, these things aren’t a big deal for most, but culture is real and it does impact your life in a similar manner as being intentional about who you hang out with.

I recommend putting very little weight on most of these responses. Hopefully you are new to 121. We need fresh blood that is not a product of the old guard.
