Or have a Capt tell you nine times between the FAF and gate how stupid you are after you look down for 3 seconds to put ground in standby at 2,000 feet.
At the end of the day, these things aren’t a big deal for most, but culture is real and it does impact your life in a similar manner as being intentional about who you hang out with.
