The ability to use short term recall and multitask is highly degraded. If it was about aviation safety you’d take that wealth of knowledge and teach someone in a piston single where only the two of you are at risk, not my family in the back of a jet. The day we take a family member’s keys is a tough day but we know it has to be done. Driving is not a right it’s a privilege. Flying a jet with people in the back is not a right either, it’s a privilege. You have a he right to work doing something else. |

Having it both ways? age 67 is dead !!!! for now , because I think ICAO is the driver on the issue and not the FAA . make sure you don't have a heart attack because you would not be able to get a job with a 135 operator when your time comes move on |

Don't get me wrong, I understand why some of these pilots would like it to change, but the ones using rhetoric that sound "scabbish" act like the age was moved from 67 down to 65 suddenly and that they lost something. It did not. They are no more entitled or hurt than the pilot that retired at 65 2.1 years ago. |

Well is obvious ALPA does not care what you think either!! They went against their membership for age 65 and will probably do it again with age 67, when they realize there lots money in for them.
