For new DAL or CAL new-hires ... can you share your timelines ... from application submitted all the way to training date. Thanks!

Published my app the third week of Jan, got the interview email 2nd week of March, scheduled the interview for the 25th of April, and started the 18th of June. I could have interviewed a couple weeks sooner but I had Military commitments.

Applied to DAL in late April. The interview invitation was e-mailed in June for a July interview. Delta made a conditional offer pending medical, psych and background check. Expecting a call in Aug for a Sept class. My time is all military and I had two internal recs.

Filled out my airlineapps app in Nov 06 and updated it regularly between now and then. No calls from CAL but this Thursday got an email from Delta for a AUG interview. No interal rec, or contacts. I consider myself pretty lucky. Was also just hired by SWA but with a TBD future class date.

So DT do you think you will go to the interview with Delta or be happy with SWA? I joined the SWA pool in late May and have been told I can expect an invitation to interview with DAL in Sep.
