Don't know, but the plan, supposedly, is to really grow MKE as well as other markets. Most new hires are getting lines awarded after a few months. Whether or not that changes drastically remains to be seen. I think the merger will eventually be a good thing, and if everything goes as planned AirTran will be adding a lot of pilots and aircraft. I'm excited about the future but really want to see all the contract issues taken care of, (SCOPE comes to mind). There's nothing like trying to grow an airline with the possibility of 86 seat RJ's doing your flying for you. That would affect the new hires way more then blending two seniority lists.

You are very right, all the Fos are very threaten by this new scope. If it has in a little (a) we fly them.

Vote it down, and recall them now.

I was hired in Feb...held reserve for two months...and have a line for Aug. It's a great company to work for...despite all of the "female dogging" (b1tch1ng) by the pilots about the TA. And yes...I'm one of them....

Can you tell me what a typical line on the 717 looks like? Also, how easy has it been to schedule your UTA's/AFTP's with your schedule (you are a Reservist, I assume...) Thanks!

Default New Airtran bases?

What's the chance the expansion would include a couple more domiciles - especially in the NE? Thanx

There's word that BWI will be a "virtual" base soon... of course MCO is always on the list...

I would say MCO would be first, since there going to bring it up around 100 flights a day.
