Anecdotal but my experience with pilots who have other serious qualifications (like DR) are usually wackos. Makes me wonder if they were forced out of their previous profession. Being a doctor doesn’t mean much if you haven’t practiced in years or barely practice. I probably wouldn’t trust a doctor who brags about being an airline pilot to perform heart surgery on me. Same with taxes. Would you want a CPA flying your plane? Don’t need a pilot doing my taxes.

Scheibner also holds a Doctor of Ministry degree and runs a family counseling service.

Very true. I’ll also add that out of the two pilots i know who are also lawyers. One is one of the best people I know and the other is the absolute scum of the earth. The one who is scummy will tell you they’re a lawyer in the first sentence they say to you. The good one you gotta pry that information out of them. Something weird about having airline pilot as your career but always bragging about some other qualification you don’t make a living with.
