More Greyhound Bus Lines, with a hint of meth. Dot Gov in 2026 is a weird vibe.

The problem it's not going to save jobs. It's basically so Citadel & Co don't lose 450M.

This is going to end up like the deal to buy Greenland. He’ll get a lot of press time, get the opportunity to beat his chest and try to score political points, but nothing will actually happen. Remove potential political gains from the equation and there’s no financial reason to do this. He knows that it probably won’t get past Congress so he’s just putting the illusion out there. If it comes to liquidation he’ll say that he tried to save the airline that Biden destroyed and claim victory.

The bailout is for Citadel and not Spirit.

Default Risk

Spirit can risk its own money, not the tax payers. Some old lady on Social Security should not have her Social Security taxed to give it to Spirit.

Let alone anyone’s tax money.

$500 million is nothing to the fed they probably spent that much while I was typing this. Its not like it even makes a difference in the debt bucket.
