i have looked back on all the posts you have added to a thread i started or one of my posts, and all of them are about you telling me how terrible airline pilot life is... i see no such worries myself.. there is nothnig different about 80,000 people screaming at you, waking up at 5AM for workouts, going to class, watching film for two hours, going to a three hour practice, and then watching film all night... where im from, i learned quickly to not care about the little things.. everyone dies in debt one way or another right... if you want to be a pilot, by all means, go be one.. someone, somewhere, right now is hiring... go get a job, keep it!!!!!, and then maybe you'll make back all that money you spent to get flying in the first place... as for an MBA, no thanks.. im happy with my degree... my life is set right now, no need for more distractions... i love flying.. if you don't, go get your MBA and stop discouraging young pilots by posting nothing but negativity...
... damn, now im mad for practice

Relax. I'm not being negative. Just be ready for whatever cards life deals you. Best way to do that is to be educated and to have a fall back plan in case you need it. Thats not being negative - its planning for the unexpected. I am going to get my MBA. I want it because my employer pays for 1 AA / 1 BS / 1 career certification / and 1 Masters... I don't want to pass on those benefits. I'm saving my GI BILL for use after I leave the AF. If I have my MBA I can use the GI Bill to help out with paying for a PhD. I've placed a value on higher education to set an example for my daughter. Plus, I like learning...
Lets stop going down this road and move towards a middle ground where we can resolve issues more productively.
