Default air canada livery

my guess is that most people on this site are domestic airline pilots or former ones, but has anyone seen the new livery for air canada.. quite possibly the worst thing they have ever put on an airliner... all silver, like american, wow.... air canada went the wrong way on this one... so much for a good looking a/c

It's baby blue with red. I'm undecided whether it's bad or merely OK (here's a pic http://www.airliners.net/open.file/959804/M/)

Are you really a QB for UConn?

Default yes and yes

yes, there actually is a new livery for AC that is in "polished aluminum" and can be seen on some of their 320's... secondly, yes, i really am a QB for UConn, as Skyhigh, LAfrequentflyer, and B757200ER have already seen.. unfortunately, team hasnt been playing well, but we are always on ESPN which is nice, so guys from APC can watch me play... check the roster at UConnHuskies.com... go to football, QB, #14, Peder von Harten

You're right Peder---it is ugly as HELL.

Air Canada is a great company, too. What a shame.

Who is next for UConn, West Virginia?

Let me introduce some facts here. There is 1 aircraft, a 767-200, in a polished aluminum paint scheme. It is a trial only and will only be applied to one single aircraft as an experiment. So far, internally, the reaction has been one of, well, disgust. Air Canada at no point was considering this as a fleet wide colour scheme. The Crest toothpaste scheme, like the 340 above, will be applied to the fleet. This paint job (Crest) is growing on me.

The Airbus fleet cannot carry the polished aluminum scheme due to the skin finish.

Division I QB,

You probably hear this a lot. Any chance of being picked in the draft?
Is that something you're interested in? Either way put the QB stuff in your resume and you'll get hired somewhere. Or go pro and buy your own jet.
My cousin used to sit the bench for Tampa Bay and made 750k per year. Not bad for a bench harmer.

Default QB...my 2 cents worth

QB,

Sir, stay in school and get an MBA to go along with your Econ degree. Then worry about the aviation career...Airlines / flying aren't going anywhere and you'll be better prepared for the future. I'm finishing my cisco certifications currently - after i'm done with the certs I'm going to school for an MBA. I list aviation in the hobbies section of my resume - its a good place for it...There are many options / jobs - ensure you are prepared for the free-market economy by having a back-up plan / career path...

My 2 cents worth...
