Default When SWA takes over...

All the talk and rumors about SWA possibly acquiring another airline have raised a few questions.

1) If a merger/acquisition happens, what will happen to the poolies?
2) How will the acquired airline’s pilots integrate into the company?

I know there isn’t a definitive answer, but do any of you have any ideas what may occur?

I’m definitely keeping my day job until I get a class date, especially since I just got moved from the dishwasher to the drive thru!

I have talked with a few Captains who went through the Morris merger and all pilots were interviewed and stapled. All pilots were taken aboard though, even a few who had been let go by SWA years prior. SWAPA demanded it. Pilots in the pool at the time did not start until after Morris pilots got on and were junior to them.
