Delta Questions?

I think as long as the suits are conservative and something you would be comfortable wearing to a formal gathering, it'll be fine. Don't get too bogged down in the attire. Simple, dark and conservative IMHO. Look like a professional!

Heard one of the interviewers got so tired of seeing dark suits and red ties that he blurted he would hire outright the next guy who walks in wearing a tan suit!
that said, i'll be in charcoal and red for the interview too. chicken that i am.

If you think that an interviewer can hire you, you are dreaming...he can recommend that you not be hired however...even that doesn`t mean that you won`t be hired. Having said that, I still wouldn`t show up in anything but a dark suit and dark red tie. One of my Delta classmates (G-66) showed up in a tan sportcoat ( a SAC pilot, don`t you know)...he`s still getting flack for that one.

I recently flew with a pilot who does interviews and he categorically stated that the old "blue-suit-red-tie" gouge was total BS, and that as long as you looked sharp and professional it did not matter what colors you wore.

I've just read all of your previous 9 posts and they all say just about the same thing. Care to shed some light on what you do and why you are so bitter?

Delta pays more than CAL and thats with Delta taking 45%. CAL has not taking anything. Delta gives us health ins. day 1. CAL you don't get it until 6 months. CAL first year around 30, 2nd yr. around 55-60. Delta 1st yr 49, 2nd yr 68-77. Maybe you are getting us mixed up with CAL.
CAL is still better than any regional job, it is a good job. Not trying to bash CAL, just giving the facts. I hope you guys get a great contract.

Sorry I should have not even responded to this loser. This is a good thread and website. No need for this crap. What a waste of time.
