Hey, just completed?? the assessment myself and didnot pat myself on the back afterwards. Im wishing Ihad done a littleresearch, and not just launched right into it. Anyway, no news back from VA, good or bad?
Industry wages suck right now...all agreed??
After 10 years in airlines with 3 carrierfs, being furloughed again. What do I do? Wait it out? Fly for a commuter and eat savings but stay current??
Sheesh, this aitrline pilot dream thingy aint working out so good no more!

I'm not sure what Fish freighter just said, because I have him on ignore, but I can tell you that it is a pretty good gig. If you have a choice between VX and somebody else, then you might have to make a tough decision. But if VX gives you a job and you don't have any other options, I'd take it in a heartbeat. Everybody, even the hardcore union guys, love their jobs here. It's just frustrating to some to see this company not live up to it's potential.

Hopefully, VX will live up to its potential for failure. One quarter of profit in 4 YEARS of operation? Take a job at VX at your own risk knowing it may not be here next year.

Just to let you know VX might be gone this year they need to IPO if they don't this year it's the end. Now if they have a successful IPO then they are here to stay.

Way to kick a guy who is down on his luck. He had been flying America's best to places that some airlines just don't fly to. Typical for America, his airline had been leveraged to the hilt, with the resultant gains for management. Now that the war is winding down, management has decided that since they can't service the note, they'll cleave the airline down. Bye bye to one of the best non sched jobs out there. Yes, he wasn't bring the industry down. He had been bringing it up.

Please remember that small fish get eaten by bigger fish. The problem is that there always seems to be a bigger fish right around the corner. Your airline may have feasted on the smaller fish, but you may find yourself for dinner sometime down he road. I'm sure there's a Delta or Jet America pilot or two that feels the same way you do. Maybe your hatred for VX is that feeling of things to come. For your fellow workers, I hope not.
