a few ERs and 767s in ATL may be there, but the vast majority will be NYC.

Thank you, this is getting better by the minute... Now, let say I get NYC, what kind of timeframe are we looking at before I can bid and get ATL?
depends. If you want to stay on the ER, may be a bid or two, so say 6-9 months. If you are willing to go to the domestic 767, or even the 73N or 88 you could get ATL on the very next bid. |
does a change to a regular 767 from an ER require more training? Does the initial qual for 767 encompass all of the models and the 757?

Yes. Moving from the 767 to the 7ER will seat lock you for nine months, however. |

Yes, it should. The 9mo thing is for the additional training in the INTL category. Basically, as it was told to me, if you don't have to touch the school house following a bid award you don't incur a seat lock.
The short seat locks are for things like 88 folks getting 90 differences and moving into the CVG or SLC domiciles, or 767 peeps going through intl ground school and TOE. In fact, ER upgrade from 767 may be longer than 9 mo. Anyone know for sure? |

Going from the domestic 767 to 7ER incurs a nine month seat lock. Going from the ER to the domestic 767 incurs no seat lock, since it requires no training. |
