Default Continental Hiring mins

The minimums that CAL has posted include 1000 hrs turbine. Is that PIC or does it matter?
And I know those are mins. What hours are most getting hired with?

I'm not hired yet, still have the sim left, but I got an interview with about 2000 total, 900 pic, 750 sic, 1990 turbine. 5 recomendations, no internal reccs, dropped off a resume at a job fair though. Application on file about 9 months.

good luck

The mins are 1500 TT, 1000 PIC, 1000 turbine, 1000 ME. It doesn't need to be 1000 turbine ME PIC. Although I'm sure that would be more desirable, I and many others have been hired without that.

I'm going to posit that if you guys have 99-100% turbine time, you're probably military, and that would definitely be in your favor.

I probably should have stayed in ROTC.

WarEagle,

Just finished with High Power 2 weeks ago. I would highly recommend them. It is a great program and with a great group of people running the show there.

Good luck,
lifter
